The BMC Helix Developer & Administrator will design, develop, and maintain BMC Helix ITSM solutions to meet client requirements and enhance service delivery. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams, ensuring optimal system performance, and delivering best‑in‑class automation and integration capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and customize BMC Helix ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management.
• Design and implement automated workflows, service catalogs, and self‑service portals using BMC Helix Designer and Integration Studio.
• Perform system administration tasks such as user management, security configuration, and environment maintenance.
• Integrate BMC Helix with third‑party applications and APIs using REST, SOAP, and webhooks.
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis to ensure platform stability and reliability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience developing and administering BMC Helix ITSM solutions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for customizations.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and integration platforms.
