Case StudyPrivacy·US Entry

How a European privacy platform opened doors at 61 Fortune 500 companies.

The company led its market in Europe but was unknown in the US, and emails sent from Amsterdam weren't landing with American buyers. Skillfi built a US-based SDR pod and ran account-based outreach to the people who decide on privacy at the biggest US companies. It's how our outbound sales team works: the right accounts, the right people, meetings on the calendar.

A leader in Europe, a stranger in the US.

The company's platform helps large organisations manage customer data, consent and privacy requests. It was a market leader in Europe, and with more US states passing privacy laws, the board saw the US as its biggest opportunity.

The European team tried selling into the US from Amsterdam. Emails talked about GDPR, which US buyers didn't relate to, calls happened at the wrong time of day, and each account was contacted through one person who rarely replied. After nine months, only nine of the 150 target US companies had taken a meeting.

In Europe, our name opens doors. In the US, we were just another email from a company nobody had heard of.

Sell like a US company, to every person who decides.

We put a US team on US hours, rewrote the story for US buyers and treated every target company as its own campaign. Market priorities and messaging were shaped with fractional GTM support.
