Skillfi is seeking a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for our enterprise clients. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and drive automation initiatives that enhance reliability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain highly available, fault‑tolerant cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Integrate security controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) into CI/CD pipelines using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Develop and enforce automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, and secret management across all stages of development and deployment.
• Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis for cloud‑related security events, providing actionable remediation recommendations.
• Mentor and coach engineering teams on DevSecOps best practices, fostering a culture of security‑first development.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to define performance, cost‑optimization, and scalability targets while ensuring security posture.
• Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies and security tools, recommending strategic adoption to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 11 years of hands‑on experience in cloud engineering, with at least 4 years focused on DevSecOps in large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency with security automation tools (Snyk, Checkmarx, Aqua, Twistlock) and cloud native security services (AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center, GCP Security Command Center).
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling development.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly desirable.
